William Erhart

William A. Erhart has practiced law since 1978. In his more than thirty years of practicing law, he has handled thousands of legal matters on behalf of individuals and corporations. These cases range from representing injured individuals due to auto accidents, dog bites, etc., to setting up businesses as corporations or limited liability companies, to preparing wills and providing estate planning, to drafting deeds, to being involved in complex litigation in both state and federal courts. He is a designated arbitrator for the American Arbitration Association and has provided guidance to numerous nonprofit organizations.

Mr. Erhart has served as general counsel for Global Maintech Corporation, a publicly-traded company, and as outside general counsel for Alpine Industries, Inc. for approximately ten years. Mr. Erhart has also served as Commissioner of the Metropolitan Airports Commission. He is active in many community functions including the Mercy & Unity Foundation, Mediation Services for Anoka County, and more. In 2003, Mr. Erhart was named Super Lawyer by Twin Cities Law and Politics.

Mr. Erhart is admitted to practice law in the State of Minnesota and the United States District Court for the District of Minnesota, along with the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth and Federal Circuits. He is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, the Minnesota Trial Lawyers Association, and the Anoka County Bar Association.


M. Ryan Madison graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in 2005 and went to work for a small firm in Coon Rapids that focused on all aspects of law and had a sizeable Indian Law practice. From there he was offered a job to work for one of the top litigators in Minnesota where he spent nearly two years perfecting his advocacy skills. Ryan has his own general practice firm in Anoka and works closely with Mr. Erhart on a wide array of cases. After graduating from Cretin-Derham Hall High School Ryan went on to the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater where he graduated with a BA in Political Science.


Lori Ebel is the paralegal at Erhart & Associates, L.L.C. She has worked for Mr. Erhart for twelve years. She assists Mr. Erhart in legal research and performs transcription, drafts pleadings and correspondence, files, schedules meetings and court dates, summarizes medical records, and meets with clients. She has an Associate in Science Degree with honors as a Paralegal from North Hennepin Community College and an Associate in Applied Science Degree as a Legal Administrative Secretary from South Central Technical College.


Elizabeth is the bookkeeper for Erhart & Associates, L.L.C. She works part time at the office taking care of payroll, accounts receivable, and accounts payable. She has over ten years of experiencing in the accounting field.
